Retired, Third Grade Teacher, Iolani School
Pamela Shim
Hi, I am Pamela Shim! I am a retired school teacher having spent 38 years in my profession. In 1981, I began my career at Holy Family School and moved to ‘Iolani School in 1987. Throughout my career, I taught at various grade levels, but my favorite grade was third. It is always fun seeing students all grown up and hearing where their path in life is heading. Teaching was the best job ever…no two days were alike and each day was an adventure. In my retirement I enjoy daily walks, traveling, and working on house and craft projects. Spending time with my husband Tom is also a great joy!
